La Camilluccia stands in a charming atmosphere among the twelve scopes of the countryside of the province of Novara.
The main structure of the villa/castle, which dates back 1770, was originally built for use as a parish recreational centre as well as a place of oration and pryare.. This is what is known from the Parish records of Cavallirio. It was call "Isola San Rocco" (Saint Roco Island)
In 1867, it became the property of the Morini Brothers.
The standing above the roof of La Camilluccia dates back 1769 and it’s considered to be of great historic and artistic value.
Between 1944 and 1948 extension, recovery and restoration works were carried out on the building. This was passionately done by the building Surveyor Ettore Bobbio from Novara.
The tower, which was originally round, ruined and only a few metres high, was modified with flat-topped merlon and its hight was raised to 25 metres.
The paintings and fresco paintings were done by Professore Pietro Gaddia and Mr. Eldo Andreoletti from Cavallirio.
